Remember the days when a friendly doctor really cared about your health?
I do, and that inspired me to try to become the kind of doctor that friends tell each other about.
My dream was to become an excellent doctor, and I was fortunate to get an education at the finest medical schools. After graduating from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, I earned my medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I was invited to serve my residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore.
I am certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In 2000 I established my internal medicine practice in Atlanta. When my patients are hospitalized, I visit them at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville or Eastside Medical Center in Snellville. I have privileges to admit patients there.
Many patients rely on me as their primary care doctor, but others visit whenever they need the expertise that an internal medicine doctor provides.
Some of the medical conditions I treat most often are…
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Lowering cholesterol and lipid disorders
- Colds and flu
- Physical exams
- Skin problems
- Thyroid diseases and hormone imbalances
- Depression and anxiety
- Preventative medicine
- Geriatric medicine
- International travel vaccines & consultations
Most of my patients live in Lawrenceville, Grayson, Snellville, Lithonia, Lilburn, Dacula, Auburn, Winder, Duluth, and Loganville.
Besides providing patient care at the practice, I serve on the Primary Care Council at the Gwinnett Hospital System and I have been a volunteer physician at the Gwinnett Community Clinic in Snellville since 1995.
